Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Trickly. By using the website or apps you accept them. We have kept them as plain as we can.
1. Who these terms are with
Trickly is operated by TO BE CONFIRMED — registered entity name, registered at TO BE CONFIRMED — registered office address ("Trickly", "we", "us"). "You" means the person using the service. If you are under 18, a parent or lawful guardian must accept these terms on your behalf and supervise your use.
2. What Trickly provides
Trickly is a study aid. It provides shortcut lessons, practice questions, memory aids, exam tips, activity suggestions, and an artificial-intelligence assistant that explains homework questions in several Indian languages.
Trickly is not a school, not a tutor, and not a substitute for either. It does not award qualifications and does not guarantee any examination result. Explanations produced by the AI assistant may contain errors and should be checked against the child's textbook, syllabus and teacher.
3. Accounts
- You must give accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account.
- Accounts for learners under 18 must be created or approved by a parent or lawful guardian.
- One account is for one person. Sharing an account or its credentials is not permitted.
- Tell us promptly at support@trickly.in if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Free and paid plans
The Free plan lets you browse core shortcuts, do basic practice and ask a limited number of questions each day. The Plus plan costs ₹199 per month for one child, and the Family plan ₹349 per month for up to 3 children in the same household. Both are billed in advance through our payment gateway.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We will give notice before any price change affects you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Trickly for anything unlawful, or to harass, abuse or harm another person;
- upload anything obscene, hateful, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or our systems;
- scrape, copy or bulk-download our lessons, or use them to build a competing product;
- use automated tools to send large volumes of requests, or to resell access to the AI assistant;
- attempt to make the AI assistant produce content unrelated to school work, or to bypass its safeguards;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or interfere with the operation of the service.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and where the breach is serious we may do so without notice.
6. Intellectual property
The Trickly name, the Trickly logo, the lightbulb character, the lesson text, illustrations, layout and software are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws.
You may use the lessons for your own personal, non-commercial learning, and teachers may use them in their own classroom. You may not republish, redistribute or sell them.
"Trickly" is used as an unregistered trade mark, denoted ™. An application for registration is being pursued.
7. Content you submit
You keep ownership of the photos, recordings and text you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the answer you asked for and to operate and secure the service. We do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep it.
You confirm that you have the right to submit what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
8. Availability
We work to keep Trickly available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice where a change materially reduces what a paying subscriber receives.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, Trickly is provided on an "as is" basis, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or examination outcomes. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
10. Third-party links and activities
Trickly suggests traditional games and outdoor activities. These are suggestions only. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian, and you are responsible for deciding whether an activity is safe and suitable for your child.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at the location of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting proceedings, please raise the matter through our grievance redressal process — most issues are resolved there.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is material we will notify you, and continuing to use Trickly afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
